In first grade when asked what I wanted to be when I grew up I was a broken record. The same answer came with every passing grade. All I've ever wanted to be was an artist, so to be one today is more than satisfactory, its awesome! My philosophy on life is the patchwork result of gathering bits and pieces from here and there, we learn even from the most unconventional methods. I think most things in life have a purpose, and even some trivial accident can unravel a domino effect. Every mundane detail of life is not Destiny, but major things sure are. Never try to push destiny though, it will only result in painful failure. Not saying there's no free will, you have to decide your path. External influences can only guide or distract, but the final responsibility falls on you alone. There are no excuses. ALWAYS think of others, give more than what is expected but remember to love yourself. Only you can put yourself down. Which leads me to say that it's better to be alone than in bad company. I'm a happy person :) so I wouldn't ever trade my life, with all it's roses and bitter, teary thorns. I ignore, get pass and bury any negativity that attempts to threaten my unabashed optimism. I'm an extrovert with introverted hobbies. The earth is our home and I try to care for the environment in whatever little way I can. I ♥ cooking, baking, exercising, gardening, reading, writing, sewing...I ADORE animals, but am definitely NOT a pet person. Rural or Urban? mmm...I can't decide, Why not both!? I believe in moderation, honesty, rectitude, tolerance, justice, loyalty, etc you get the picture. We should all strive to be better individuals everyday. Whether it's a vivid art book, a happy-go-lucky beach side tan, a family-packed dinner, an electrical melody or dizzying mojito it's uber important to appreciate the simple blessings. It's atrocious to follow either your mind or your heart. Pragmatic equations or uncensored passions get us nowhere, I'll stick to my conscience. *SIGH* I'm a health nut and I do my grocery and beauty shopping reading and re-reading the labels. I have...lemmie count...5 brothers, so yeah, when I'm not being a girly-girl in lacy pink I'm a part time Tom-boy :) I have my angry moments like all humans do but have been told my laughter is infectious, especially when it's a couple minutes long. If I'm not being an overactive chatterbug I'm submerged silently in my drawings. Not a TV fan but I do wish I had a golden,all-year-round entry ticket at the theaters since movies are a must-have. Politics'n'Paintings are my breakfast ( which is the happiest moment of the day ). In the political spectrum position me as a very progressive conservative in the center-left. Kinda confusing but hey! It works for me. Religion is a VERY important part of my life, but I keep my religion in-doors, and frown on proselytization. Maybe this is getting too long, you can't really define a person with a paragraph. OK, let's cut it short. I paint obsessively, I'm very politically-driven, a recent actress and I'm Caribbean. Want more? Just message me :) I'm very easy-going and would love to hear from you!
World Learning y los teenagers cubanos
Continue reading "World Learning y los teenagers cubanos"
